State-Community Partnerships for System of Care Expansion

This session of the System of Care Expansion Leadership Learning Community will focus on strategies for states and communities to create effective partnerships to expand the system of care approach broadly to achieve shared goals of improving behavioral health services and outcomes for children, youth, and young adults and their families. Based on a recent project, presenters will discuss: 1) the importance of state-community partnerships for SOC expansion, 2) a framework for partnerships with specific strategies, and 3) recommendations from states and communities for effective partnerships. In addition, state-local teams from two states (New Hampshire and Virginia) will describe their state-community partnership strategies and how these may be applied in other jurisdictions.
